This policy explains how CodeWeld processes personal data for website visitors, prospective and current customers, suppliers, and integration project stakeholders, including data used for legal, sanctions, and anti-money-laundering checks.

Controller and contacts
CodeWeld is the controller for website, billing, support, consultation, and account data. Romans Skopinovs is named as CEO and Legal Representative.

Data we process
We may process names, business contact details, employer and role, correspondence, billing and transaction records, consent choices, technical logs, integration requirements, system maps, and project documents supplied by authorized customers.
Where proportionate or legally required, we may also process identity, beneficial-ownership, authority-to-act, sanctions and politically exposed person screening results, payment origin, and source-of-funds information to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, and other unlawful activity.
Legal bases, disclosure, and automated decisions
Processing relies on steps requested before a contract, contract performance, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and financial-crime prevention, and consent where required by GDPR, RODO, or ePrivacy rules.
We may disclose data to vetted hosting, communications, payment, accounting, legal, compliance, and screening providers, banks, auditors, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or competent authorities where lawful. We do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects without required safeguards.
Retention, transfers, and security
We retain data only for the purpose and period required by contract, tax, accounting, dispute, security, and financial-crime laws. AML/KYC records may be retained for the legally required period after a relationship or transaction ends; other data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, minimization, backups, and audit measures. Transfers outside the EEA use an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard where required.
Your rights and complaints
Subject to legal exceptions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
